When shopping for practice nets and cages, whether online or at your local sporting goods store, it’s easy to get confused with the various product offerings, terminology and prices. To simplify comparison of products, we’ve defined terminology below: Cage: A net plus all components for a cage’s frame structure including poles and corner fittings. May or may not include a safety impact panel. Corner fittings: Needed to construct freestanding cage frames. Materials may be vary. Our corner fittings are made out of steel, with the exception of the corner fitting provided for our Do-It-Yourself Professional Golf Kit that are custom-formed PVC to allow for easy and inexpensive home construction using materials from your local hardware store. Net: For looks, wear and tear, we’ve chosen both quality of design and materials, manufacturing our nets in one piece, with all-weather UV treated knotless netting. Safety Impact Panel (also referred to as a Baffle): Not every company’s cages include a safety impact panel—ours always do—designed on the diagonal for maximum ‘catch’ factor and heavy-duty durability. Frame or poles: Dimensions and materials may vary,
tools may be required—not for our frames. We’ve designed
and manufactured our frames using ¾” steel durability.
Our Snap-loc™ design allows for easy setup, takedown, handling
and storage, with NO TOOLS REQUIRED, not even a ladder! Thousands of lessons taught by PGA Professionals using these golf practice nets!Copyright © GolfSports,
